Our Sensei is Ron Hansen,
7th Dan (Shichidan). He has held the following positions in
US Judo; Chairman USJA Promotion Board, member of the United
States Olympic Committee for Judo, ,USJF Life membership Chairman,
President of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan Yudanshakai and is
a referee emeritus having been licenses as a PJU National Referee.
He is currently the President of North Carolina Judo Inc., member
of the USA Judo Promotion Board, Teachers Institute and Rules
Committee. He has a Rokudan certificate from the Kodokan and
a Shichidan certificate from USA Judo, USJF and USJA, he is
an International Coach with USA Judo and a Master Coach with
the USJA. He has trained over 65 students to the rank of Black
Belt. He was also inducted into the Wisconsin Judo Hall of Fame
in 2007

Ron Czolek, 3rd Dan, Coach
and National Referee. Ron is a certified coach and has a Shodan
certificate from the Kodokan and a Sandan certificate from USA
Judo. He is one of only six Nationally ranked referees in North
Carolina and has been involved with Judo since 1994. |

Jose Abudo, 5th Dan, Coach. Jose Abudo, started training at an early age in Puerto Rico under Sensei Tomita, Jose is a classical Judo player with excellent technical ability.

Chris Behm, 2nd Dan, Coach. Chris Behm, started training in Judo in 2003, a former competitor and team captain of the West Point judo Club. He also holds a 2nd Dan in Hoteikan Ju-Jitsu.

Mike Preditis, 3rd Dan, Coach. Mike Preditis, started training at an early age in the Chicago area, Mike is an International competitor and USA pointed athletic he is currently training at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. |

Steph Horseill, 2nd Dan, Coach. Steph came to our club from the UK having trained extensively under the British Judo System, she has remarkable light technical judo and great instruction and motivation ability |

Frank Felicetta, 3rd Dan, Coach. Frank is a former student of Yonezuka Sensei, Frank has considerable judo experience and competition titles, although suffering from many judo injuries Frank is always willing to coach and share his expertise in the sport |
 |
Hector Negron, Coach, 2nd Dan, started Judo in Puerto Rico and then
trained in Japan where he received his current rank. |
